Janet Penny, RMT, has been dedicated to the practice of massage therapy in Ottawa, Ontario, since 2007. With a profound appreciation for the resilience of the human body, she specializes in supporting individuals navigating the challenges of cancer. Janet's approach to massage therapy encompasses a holistic understanding of her clients' needs, addressing various aspects such as pre- and post-surgical care, scar tissue management, radiation fibrosis, neuropathy, and pain management. She recognizes the intricate interplay between physical and emotional well-being, providing integrative support to her clients. Janet is also a co-author of "Oncology Massage: An Integrative Approach to Cancer Care"(Handspring, 2021), further showcasing her expertise and commitment to enhancing cancer care through massage therapy.
